Introducing the Shelly 1L Gen3, a compact one-channel smart switch designed for lighting control, particularly in installations without a Neutral wire. This versatile device can be operated as a standalone unit on a local Wi-Fi network or integrated with cloud home automation services. It is compatible with a wide range of lights including LED and incandescent.
The Shelly 1L Gen3 has an improved processor and increased memory, and is Matter-ready via a firmware update. The device's compact design allows it to fit discreetly in standard electrical wall boxes or behind light switches. It includes an internal temperature sensor for overheating protection.
No Neutral Wire Required
The Shelly 1L Gen3 works without a neutral wire, making it perfect for older homes or rooms where a neutral wire is not available. For loads under 20W, a Shelly Bypass 1L/2L Gen3 must be connected in parallel.
