An RC Snubber is a Resistor Capacitor device and is used to suppress voltage spikes caused by a circuit's inductance when a switch, electrical or mechanical, opens.
The Shelly RC Snubber is designed to be used for all Shelly relays which are restarted when switching on inductive loads such as fans, motors, rollers, or those that cause voltage spikes during power on.
The RC snubber should be wired between the Output and Neutral of the circuit and ideally at the load/device, but can also be used at the relay.
